Satoru Mochizuki Calls 27 Players For TC And Selection Of Indonesian Women's National Team
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Women's National Team coach, Satoru Mochizuki, has called 27 players to undergo a training camp (TC) in Jakarta since Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
This team has previously undergone two series of trials in Bahrain against the home team. Garuda Pertiwi successfully brought two wins in Bahrain, namely winning 3-2 and 3-0.
The plan is that the Indonesian Women's National Team will also try out the strength of Hong Kong which is scheduled for 11 and 14 July 2024.
However, in the match against Hong Kong, Satoru changed the composition of the squad. More than half of the troops brought to Bahrain were replaced with new names.
"So, our plan today is until the end of the month, to hold a selection for preparations against Hong Kong. So, from the previous Women's National Team, half of our players have changed."
"We are trying to give opportunities for other players to perform, where they can enter this team," said Satoru Mochizuki after training.

"To fight Hong Kong later, to be honest I don't know their strengths and games yet. What is certain is that whoever the opponent is, my goal is to give Indonesia victory," he said.
The composition of the players who are currently called will certainly undergo re-selection. Some of them have participated with the Japanese coach.
"This player is a combination of information from myself and of course PSSI. Some of these players have come with me. I am very satisfied with their performance," said Satoru.
Meanwhile, this time, Satoru included two names of descendants, namely Noa Leatomu (KRC Genk Ladies Belgium) and Emella Loupatty (AFC Vrouwen 1 Netherlands).
They have also joined the training camp since the first day. The plan, there will be one more person (Djenna de Jong) of descendants who will join.
"Today there are two descendants who take part in training. Later one more person will follow. Both of them that I see have quite a speed," said the coach who is familiarly called Mochi coach.
There is another change in the Indonesian Women's National Team this time, namely the change of assistant coach. Satoru brought another Japanese, named Takumi Taniguchi, to become an assistant coach.
"Yes, there is a change in this team, not all of them have come. Not all of the players, some are still in Japan. I hope that these new players will be able to compete and be brought to Hong Kong," he said.
