PKS Usung Anies-Sohibul Iman, Democrat: Naturally The Winner Of The Jakarta Election Candidates For Cadres

JAKARTA - The Democratic Party respects the PKS decision which has announced the Anies Baswedan-Sohibul Iman pair to be promoted in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. As the winner of the election in Jakarta, the Democrats considered it natural for PKS to propose its cadres to be duet with the former governor of Jakarta.

"As the winner of the election in Jakarta, of course, it would be very natural if PKS later proposed its cadres as a candidate. Although it still has to build a coalition so that it can sail because none of the parties in Jakarta can sail on their own," said Deputy for Bappilu DPP of the Democratic Party, Kamhar Lakumani to reporters, Tuesday, June 26.

"For the Jakarta gubernatorial election, the Democratic Party has a heart and is always istiqamah with the Advanced Indonesia Coalition. Is it Kang Emil or is there another name? We'll just have to wait," said Kamhar.

Democrats, said Kamhar, are also seeking the names of a number of Democratic cadres to be proposed to run as Jakarta cawagub along with the governor's cagub, KIM.

"Indeed, it is still dynamic for the determination of the Cagub. However, in the Cawagub stock exchange, we are endeavoring cadres of the Democratic Party as a companion to anyone that will be decided by KIM as Cagub," he said.

As for a number of names offered by the Democrats, added Kamhar, namely the Deputy Secretary General of Democrats Jansen Sitindaon and the Chairman of the DPD Democrat Jakarta, Mujiono. In addition, there are names of members of the DKI DPRD, the Democratic faction Ali Suharli.
