Toyota Kembali Berinvestasi Di AS Dengan Perluas Lini Produksi Di Texas
Toyota has officially invested USD 531 million (IDR 8.7 trillion) in the United States (US) with an expansion of its production line in Texas. Thus, manufacturers have disbursed a total investment for this factory of USD 4.7 billion (IDR 77 trillion).
The new 500,000-foot-square facility will be dedicated to the production of drivetrain spare parts by presenting 400 new jobs in the San Antonio region, Texas, USA.
"We are proud to celebrate the spirit and stability of the long-term work represented by this investment, and we are delighted to welcome 400 new team members at Texas Toyota," said Toyota Texas President Susann Kazunas, on Toyota USA's official website, Tuesday, June 25.
For nearly two decades, Toyota Texas has produced a number of pickup trucks and SUVs. Last year, the plant had produced more than 181,000 vehicles.
This investment also strengthens the flexibility of factories with advanced manufacturing technology as companies expand its various capabilities throughout its operations in North America.
Job stability, growth, and competitive salaries are the reasons I find interest in assembling trucks in Toyota," said Christopher Rivera's Toyota Texas Team Leader.
