Gerindra Says There Is No Obstacle If Anies Wants To Meet Prabowo
Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, said that the General Chairperson and President of the Republic of Indonesia elected for the 2024-2029 period, Prabowo Subianto, was open to meeting with the former Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan. According to him, there are no obstacles if Anies wants to meet Prabowo to exchange ideas.
"Pak Prabowo has no obstacles to meeting anyone, so far Pak Prabowo has met with different choices, different views, and even different politics. He feels that all leaders are people who have potential and therefore Pak Prabowo has no obstacles to meeting," said Muzani, Tuesday, June 25.
Nevertheless, Muzani admitted that he did not know where Anies was going to meet Prabowo. According to him, the meeting does not mean that it provides support for Anies to run for the 2024 Pilkada.
"I don't know if I met you for what business, for coffee? To talk about what, but to meet Pak Prabowo there were never obstacles," he explained.
