Kuwait Asks Its Citizens To Leave Lebanon Because Israel Will Attack

KUWAIT - Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry asked all its citizens to leave Lebanon in connection with the recent increase in tensions with Israel.

Reported by the Kuwaiti news agency, Kuna, Saturday (22/6/2024), all Kuwaiti citizens living in Lebanon must leave the country as soon as possible for safety. Unless they really need to stay," the ministry said.

Following the announcement, Kuwait Airways airline increased the number of flights to Beirut to accommodate people wishing to leave Lebanon.

The situation on the Israeli-Lebanon border is getting worse after Israel's hostilities began and the resistance movement of Palestinian Hamas fighters in October 2023.

Israeli soldiers and Lebanese Hezbollah fighters, who supported Palestine in the conflict with Israel, exchanged fire against each other across the border.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Israel said it approved an operational plan for an attack in Lebanon.
