Become A Voice Filler In The Film Si Juki The Movie: Assets Of Monkey Island, Nostalgic Indra Warkop

JAKARTA - Indro Warkop is trusted to join as one of the voice actors in the latest film Si Juki The Movie: Monkey Island Treasure which will start airing on June 27, 2024.

Filling in the voice of Prof. Juned, Indra Warkop, he felt that this moment was a nostalgic moment for him who had a career as a radio announcer.

"If I may say that this is my nostalgia because I started my career as a radio announcer who plays more character on the radio," said Indro Warkop in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, Saturday, June 22, 2024.

When he was a broadcaster, Indro also filled various types of votes ranging from Java to Batak along with two of his late friends, Dono and Kasino.

"I have several votes, so Java, so Batak, as well as friends who play Mas Nanu, Mas Kasino, Mas Dono who are only one, yes, as Slamet Javanese," he said.

Apart from being a nostalgic moment, Indro also considers this opportunity as a way for him to hone his skills again in applying story scenarios.

"So, this is actually a kind of nostalgia and it's kind of honing our ability to be able to apply what the scenario asks for," he said.

"We only accept stories and dialogues. We really act as who we are there," explained Indro Warkop.

The film Si Juki: Monkey Island Treasure also collaborates with the names of other artists who are voice actors, such as Bryan Domani, Megan Domani, Muslim Tretan, Coki Pardede, Rigen Rakelna, Mandra, to Jaja Miharja.

The plan is that the film Si Juki will start showing in theaters starting June 27, 2024.
