Prosecutors Arrest TW Of PLTMH Project Corruption Suspect In Kapuas Hulu
KAPUAS HULU - A joint team from the West Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office arrested a man with the initials TW regarding the alleged corruption of village funds for the construction of a microhydro power plant (PLTMH) in Datah Dian Village, North Putussibau District, Kapuas Hulu Regency, West Kalimantan.
"The person concerned has been named a suspect after an examination after the arrest," said Head of the Legal Information Section of the West Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office, Gedin Arianta, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, June 22.
Arianta said the arrest of the suspect TW was carried out by a joint team consisting of the West Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Intelligence Arrest Team and the Kapuas Hulu Kejari Pidsus Team in collaboration with the Adhyaksa Monitoring Center (AMC) of the Attorney General's Office, at a house in Pontianak City, Friday (21/06) yesterday.

The suspect TW is the Director of CV Sinar Berkat appointed by Datah Dian Village in 2019 as a service provider or implementation of the 2019 PLTMH development using a village fund budget of IDR 1.2 billion.
However, the construction of the PLTMH has so far been neglected or not completed with a loss of approximately Rp. 963.3 million.
"The person concerned has previously been summoned as a witness three times, but has never been present and is not cooperative, after being secured and investigated, TW was later named a suspect and immediately detained," explained Arianta.
