Kusnadi's Lawyer Accuses Investigators Of Serious Violations After Submitting Additional Evidence To The KPK Council

JAKARTA - Kusnadi's lawyer, Ronny Talapessy, suspects that Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigator Kompol Rossa Purbo Bekti committed a serious ethical violation while examining his client on Monday, June 10.

Ronny conveyed this after submitting additional evidence to the KPK Supervisory Board today. He said Rossa was not professional when he examined Kusnadi and confiscated the cellphone of PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.

"Today we reported to Dewas, for us to attach it as additional evidence of how this KPK investigator is not professional," Ronny told reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Thursday, June 20.

"We ask that this is a violation of the code of ethics and we ask the KPK Council to process this quickly," he continued.

Ronny claimed that Hasto's confiscation process from Kusnadi, who was his staff, did not go through the correct legal process. For example, when Kompol Rossa apparently lied to his client who was not a litigant.

In addition, Ronny also accused investigators of falsifying signatures. Because of what, the valid letter is a letter in which on April 23 brother Kusnadi also gave an initial,' he said.

"But yesterday we were given a letter on April 10, we saw that our allegations were re-engineered. So that the first sheet of Kusnadi's brother did not initialize but on the second sheet he signed. What does that mean, we see that the ongoing process at the KPK by investigators has violated the law," he continued.

This condition made Ronny ask the KPK Supervisory Board to move immediately. Moreover, there are allegations of political nuances in the Harun Masiku case.

"And we see that there are allegations of criminalization against the Secretary General of the PDI-P because the processes we have followed are a process that has been wrong in the eyes of the law," he concluded.
