Half Of Premier League Trophy Part Stolen

JAKARTA - The Premier League has brought up a drama. It's not about the match, this time it's related to trophies.

The Sun reports that half of Premier League trophies worth 250 thousand pounds or around Rp. 5.1 billion were stolen.

The Belgian thief stole a suitcase containing the Premier League crown and trophy mat. However, the theft escaped the spotlight.

Premier League bosses managed to hide the theft so that it never smelled. Until now, these items have never been found.

However, like hiding a carcass, the theft case was finally revealed when Premier League officials announced the schedule for the new season or 2024/2025 between Manchester United hosting Fulham on August 16, 2024.

However, when confirmed further, Premier League bosses were reluctant to provide further information and even published a suitcase containing the top 15.9 kg of trophies and bases stolen at a company event in Belgium.

Apart from that, the thieves allegedly did not know what was in the suitcase. Because they don't know where it is, it is possible that half of the Premier League trophy has been merged.

As is known, there are two identical Premier League trophies. Both of them were insured for 250 thousand pounds.

One is kept by the champion, while the other belongs to the Premier League and brought around the world for display.

Often, the Premier League trophy has its own airplane seat and is usually closely protected by guards at exhibition events.

Asprey London, the trophy maker, was asked to produce crowns and other similar bases after theft by the end of 2022.

In 1966, four months before the World Cup began in England, the famous Jules Rimet Cup was stolen in London.

A week later, Davidmen were walking with his dog, Pickes, when he found the World Cup trophy in the bushes in Upper Norwood, South London.

mengot 5,000 pounds, sementara Pickes menerima medali.

Until now, the Premier League has not commented on anything. There are allegations that the bosses have secretly replaced it so that the theft case sinks.
