BMW Introduces The Latest Generation Of X3, Sold At The End Of 2024

JAKARTA - BMW has officially launched the latest generation of X3 which brought some revolutionary changes ranging from more modern exterior designs, high-end interior comfort, to leading technology support.

Reporting from Carscoops, Wednesday, June 19, the latest X3 has a number of small changes in terms of dimensions, but BMW still uses the proportion of engines at the front with rear drives as before.

The significant changes lie in the exterior design, covering a large kidney grip and can turn on the M50 xDrive variant. But what distinguishes it from other models is the latest pattern of radical grips with vertical bars combining diagonally.

Not only a change in style, but this German manufacturer has also improved driving stability in this SUV. BMW claims the latest X3 is able to overcome the better twist with lower driving altitude than before.

In addition, the fourth generation of X3 also has a stiffer body structure and various geometric adjustments that are claimed to be able to improve the precision and stability of steering.

For the interior, this model has a typical BMW warped dashboard display with a combined infotainment screen and instrument cluster. Its operating system is supported by a self-developed Operating System 9 allowing users to update via over-the-air.

There are many things that can be offered on the interior, namely that vehicle owners can access music and video streaming apps, news, augmented reality, play games, and turn cell phones into controllers in the cabin.

For its performance, the latest BMW X3 is equipped with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine combined with a millid-hybrid 48V in the 20 xDrive variant, which can produce a maximum power of 208 dk so that it can run from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds.

For diesel machine lovers, the manufacturer also presents it with the option of a 4-cylinder 2.0 liter diesel engine in the 20d xDrive type so that it can issue 197 dk of power and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 7.7 seconds.

In the M50 xDrive variant as the highest, BMW gave him a 6-cylinder engine as fresh as M TwinPower Turbo combined with a millid-hybrid 48V that produces a peak power of 398 dk. Thus, this car can run from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.

All variants are offered with transmission of eight Steptronic accelerations, including the middle shift behind the steering wheel as a standard. There is also a Sport Boost feature on M50 xDrive in an extraordinary speed increase.

All variants are also offered in driving all wheels of the xDrive system which provides maximum energy distribution.

The latest BMW X3 will be assembled at two factories, namely PlantATANburg in the US and Rosslyn in South Africa. The car will first arrive at the European and US markets in the fourth quarter of this year and will continue in other regions starting in early 2025.
