Golkar Office In Jakarta Demoted, Protesters Ask 2 Cadres In Purwakarta To Be Sanctioned
JAKARTA - The Student Alliance and the Purwakarta Community held a demonstration in front of the Golkar Party DPP office on Jalan Anggrek Neli Murni, Slipi, West Jakarta, Wednesday, June 19. They urged the Ethics Council of the Golkar Party DPP to take firm action against two of its cadres who were proven to have committed violations as public officials in Purwakarta. Two Golkar Party cadres namely, members of the Purwakarta DPRD, Dias Rukmana Praja who served as Secretary of the Golkar Party DPD and former Purwakarta Regent as well as Chairman of the Golkar Party DPD Purwakarta, Ane Ratna Mustika. He was suspected of committing immoral acts in the form of an affair that was considered to tarnish the Purwakarta area. "We strongly condemn the actions that violate moral norms as alleged infidelity involving members of the Purwakarta DPRD from the Golkarta faction, Dias Rukmana Praja," said the Purwakarta Student Alliance. The masses also urged the Golkarkarkar Party DPP Council to impose sanctions on Purwakarta Regent for the period of 218-2023, Ane Ratna Mustika as well as the chairman of the Golkar Purwakarta Party DPD for stumbling over the gratification case which is currently still under investigation by the Attorney General's Office. "We condemn the actions of gratification committed by Anne Ratna Mustika, the former Regent of Purwakarta and the Chairman of the DPD Golkar Purwakarta. This action tarnishes the image of the people of Purwakarta and undermines public confidence in political integrity," exclaimed the action orator. "We demand transparency in the process of investigation and enforcement of ethics within the party," he added. Previously, the Golkar Party District Leadership Management (PK) throughout Purwakarta Regency reported allegations of violations in the form of immoral acts committed by one of the Purwakarta Regency Golkar Party DPD management.
The PK management report for Purwakarta Regency was received by the Golkar Party Ethics Council at the Golkar Party DPP Office, Friday, June 14.
"We urge the Golkar Party DPP to act decisively in accordance with the Party's AD/ART," asked Andres Lagimin, one of the Golkar Party's sub-district leaders in Purwakarta Regency.
The leadership of the Golkar Party Sub-district throughout Purwakarta Regency also called on the Golkar Party Ethics Council to immediately take action against the management, because they were suspected of committing serious ethical violations. In his statement, the Purwakarta Regency PK management stated that the management, who is also a member of the Purwakarta Regency DPRD for the 2019-2024 period, was suspected of having committed serious violations in the form of immoral acts.
Moreover, this issue had become a public spotlight and had the potential to damage the good name of the Golkar Party, as well as the Purwakarta Regency DPRD as a whole.
