Pati Residents Shocked The Discovery Of Bodies In Wells

PATI - Residents in Pati Regency, Central Java, last Tuesday afternoon were shocked by the discovery of a man who died from the well. The cause of the man who died from inside his house is not yet known.

An Elderly named Rakiman 67 years old, a resident of Puri Village, Pati District, Pati Regency, Central Java, was found dead in the bottom of the well of his house.

The evacuation process involving dozens of volunteers from the Pati Regency BPBD SAR team took place dramatically because the narrow well gap made the evacuation process to lift the bodies extra carefully.

Pati BPBD Rescue Volunteer David Setyawan said the evacuation process had to use the strength of the rescue tripot and the strength of the rescue rope. The evacuation process lasted for up to 1 hour until finally the dead victim was successfully evacuated at around 13.45 WIB.

"At around 13.45 WIB we have finished evacuating. The well is inside so we organize the strength to evacuate," said David, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 18.

Information from the family, continued David, the victim's wife entered his house at around 11.00 WIB, but no longer found her husband in the house. Then the victim's wife and residents searched and found a sign that the well was already open. It turned out that the victim was already at the bottom of the well with a depth of 7 meters.

"At 11 o'clock his wife left and then at 11 o'clock his wife was looking for it again, how come there are no indications of getting into the well," he explained.

It is not yet known the cause of Rakiman's death in the well of his house. It is suspected that the victim slipped and fell into the well.

During the physical examination, the victim did not find any signs of injuries on the victim's body. After successfully evacuating the body was handed over to the family for burial.
