Confiscated The Cellphone Of The Secretary General Of PDIP, Is It True That The KPK Already Knows The Location Of Harun Masiku?
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confiscated a cell phone or cellphone (HP) belonging to the Secretary-General of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto. The confiscation of the cellphone was carried out because the KPK wanted to find a suspect in the case of alleged interim bribery (PAW) for members of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the 2019-2024 period, Harun Masiku, who has been on the run since 2020.
So, does the KPK already know the location related to Harun Masiku? KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto, said that his party had not been able to reveal the whereabouts of Harun Masiku. According to him, the investigative team is still trying to analyze information based on the evidence that has been confiscated.
"I can't reveal what the reality is like. (But) We hope that HM Harun Masiku) can be found soon, so that there are not many more polemics that are happening in today's society," Tessa told reporters, Saturday, June 15.
Tessa asked all parties to wait for the ongoing process. He emphasized that the investigative team had a special strategy to find Harun Masiku. However, it cannot be disclosed to the public.
"Because this is still in the process of being investigated, we cannot open too many public groups. We'll just have to wait," he said. Previously, KPK Deputy Chair Alex Marwata said that Harun Masiku's location had been indicated. He hopes that in the next week, Harun Masiku has been arrested.
