Hasto Staff Kusnadi Claims To Be Hit To Trauma, KPK Dirdik: Can Be Seen On CCTV
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that each room in its office is equipped with a surveillance camera or CCTV. Employee actions, such as investigators can still be seen or monitored.
This was conveyed by the Director of Investigation of the KPK Asep Guntur in response to the staff of the PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi, who asked for a reschedule because investigators hit him on Monday, June 10. According to him, this moment occurred when he was asked to go up to the examination room where his boss's cellphone was eventually confiscated.
"That's there, this has CCTV. You can see it there later," Asep told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, June 13.
Asep ensured that his subordinates in carrying out their duties must uphold human rights. In addition, the investigation room was also made as comfortable as possible so that the litigants would not be disturbed when examined.
"Of course, everything is for convenience and in essence, of course, one of the things that we really uphold in the investigation process for law enforcement at the KPK, we uphold human rights," he said.
Therefore, the witnesses who were asked to attend did not need to worry about giving testimony in front of investigators. This message was also conveyed by Asep to Kusnadi.

As previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto's staff, Kusnadi, was summoned by the KPK as a witness in the Harun Masiku case on Thursday, June 13. However, he asked for a reschedule because he felt traumatized.
"He asked for the rescheduling of the person concerned not to attend," said Kusnadi's lawyer, Ronny Talapessy when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, June 13.
Ronny said his client was still traumatized so he could not fulfill the investigator's summons. "Because he was bullied and felt cheated," he said.
This lawyer does not yet know when Kusnadi will be questioned. They are waiting for further calls from investigators.
"We'll tell you later, yes, if there is another call," concluded Ronny.
