Member Of Commission VII DPR Asks PLN To Compensate With Blackout Victim Customers
Member of Commission VII DPR RI Mulyanto asked PLN to compensate customers who were victims of simultaneous power outages in most parts of Sumatra, Tuesday, June 4 to Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
Mulyanto said that PLN must be responsible for the losses suffered by the community due to the mass blackout.
"This is important so that a sense of justice is fulfilled in society," said Mulyanto, Wednesday, June 12,
Mulyanto asked PLN to be fair in serving its customers. Because if the customer is negligent in the use and payment of electricity, a fine will be imposed.
Likewise, if there is negligence on PLN, it is appropriate for PLN to pay compensation to them.
"This is a form of PLN's responsibility to the community. So of course it can be carried out," Mulyanto hoped.
