ASN Transfer Fees To IKN Borne By The Government, Kemenpan RB: The Amount Is Discussed In Cabinet Sessions

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) ensures that ASN transferred to IKN will receive many incentives.

These incentives include unpaid salaries to transfer fees to IKN borne by the government.

Secretary of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB), Rini Widyantini, said that the government-borne transfer fee for ASN who moved to IKN would be discussed in a cabinet meeting with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

This was said by Rini when answering the media crew's question whether the cost of moving was borne, including for the nuclear family of ASN.

"Well, Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas said at that time that this would be discussed in a cabinet meeting. So, we are still waiting for the cabinet meeting schedule," said Rini when met by reporters at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 12.

In moving ASN to IKN, said Rini, Kemenpan-RB ensured that it would pay attention to the welfare of ASN. He said that his party would submit an incentive proposal to the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu). Even so, Rini was reluctant to specify what his party's proposals were to President Jokowi.

"Yes, there are many things, really. Later, wait for the President (Jokowi) first. (Afraid) later, right, different. The point is that the transfer to IKN is not a punishment. However, this is a place that we can integrate in providing services to the community," he said.

Previously, the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas said that ASN who moved to IKN in the early stages would receive a package-shaped allowance called 'Pining allowance'.

Anas said, there will be three costs borne by the government, namely the cost of packing, the cost of waiting and transportation costs. He detailed the components that get dependent rights in the process of transferring them.

"Later, the transfer, packaging of goods, transportation and so on will be assisted," Anas said at a press conference on the 'Skema for the Transfer of ASN to the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN)' at the Kominfo office, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 17.

"One ASN, packaging costs, then ASN couples, waiting fees. Then, there is a household assistant (ART) that costs transportation and so on," he continued.

Even so, Anas has not been able to specify how much is the nominal. The matters related to the details of the Pionir Allowance budget will still be discussed further in a limited meeting (ratas) with the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati
