West Java Police Chief Forms Team To Face Pretrial Lawsuit For Peti Setiawan
JAKARTA - The West Java Police Chief, Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus, is said to have ordered a legal team to face a pretrial lawsuit filed by the Pegi Setiawan camp, a suspect in the murder case of Vina Cirebon.
Peti Setiawan through his legal advisor officially registered a pretrial lawsuit with the Bandung District Court.
"Mr. Kapolda has ordered to form a team, a team from Bidkum for the legal sector of the West Java Police," said Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Jules Abraham Abast, to reporters, Wednesday, June 12.
Currently, the team has been formed. Thus, ready to face a pretrial lawsuit from the Pegi Setiawan camp.
On the other hand, Abast said that his party had not received any relations or summons from the court regarding the trial process.
"The West Java Police have not received a summons relation. Notification of the summons from the court, so of course this is still in progress," said Abast.
Based on the SIPP page of the Bandung District Court, the pretrial lawsuit for the Pegi camp is registered with number 10/Pid.Pra/2024/PN Bandung.

In handling the murder cases of Vina and Muhammad Rizky or Eky, the West Java Regional Police have appointed Pegi Setiawan alias Perong as suspects.
In addition, there were also seven perpetrators, namely Jaya, Supriyanto, Eka Sandi, Hadi Saputra, Eko Ramadhani, Sudirman, and Rivaldi Aditya Wardana, who had been sentenced to life imprisonment.
Then, there is another one, Saka Tatal. He was released from prison after serving 8 years in prison.
