JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz has officially brought the latest EQE SUV model to the Philippine market. This also confirms the manufacturer's commitment to accelerating and increasing electrification vehicles in the country.

This German manufacturer only provides one variant with an AMG Line package that offers a more sporty look. Then, what are the offers on this model?

Launching from Top Gear Philippines, Wednesday, June 12, the car was built on the EVA platform, just like EQE and EQS models. The model features a sporty AMG Line with a front bumper and 21-inch alloy rim.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV has a number of uniquenesses, including the presence of a flat door handle that improves aerodynamic efficiency. The car also has a black glass panel decorated with a three-dimensional star pattern.

In addition, the car also has other luxury and sophistication such as digital lights with Ultra Range high rays that provide good visibility in dark conditions.

Then in the interior, vehicle users will be greeted with the MBUX Hyperscreen screen system which stretches along a dashboard of 56 inches. This connects passenger side screens, infotainment, and instrument clusters.

The manufacturer also presents a number of other advanced features to this model, one of which is presented with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology which adds to the personal experience of Mercedes-Benz consumers.

In addition, the EQE SUV also has a sophisticated advanced driver assist system system with several functions along with a charming head-up display.

Speaking of performance, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV has a single electric motor that produces 288 dk of power and a 565 Nm torque with a 96 kWh battery that has a range capacity of 536 to 628 km in one charge based on the WLTP cycle.

In addition, the battery is claimed to have the ability to charge with a DC fast-charging of 170 kW. However, the brand has not stated a charging period of 10 to 80 percent.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV in the Philippines is priced at 7.19 million pesos, equivalent to IDR 1.9 billion.
