So The Only Southeast Asian Representative, Glutara Team Enters Top 10 Google Solution Challenge
JAKARTA - The Glutara Team from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) succeeded in bringing Indonesia's name as the only Southeast Asian country to enter the top 10 in the Google Solution Challenge program.
Membering Michael Leon Putra Widhi (20 years), Austin Gabriel Pardosi (20 years), Margaretha Olivia Haryono (20 years) and Go Total Audris (19 years), Glutara is a device with an innovative IoT system to change diabetes management.
The Glutara system is designed using a non-invasive Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) for real-time blood sugar tracking and artificial intelligence (AI) technology to analyze food and provide nutritional insight.
These technologies will then help users to make the right food choices and manage their conditions more effectively.
Michael Leon Putra Widhi explained that the idea of developing Glutara itself stems from their research on daily life for diabetics using a finger stab method.
"This system answers an epidemic of developing diabetes by offering a pain-free and easily accessible solution over traditional finger stab methods," Michael said in Google's official blog.
The intuitive visualization of AI-driven data from Glutara allows users to understand their glucose trends and make health decisions based on data.
