Remember, For Journalists Who Want To Be Vaccinated Don't Forget To Rest

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for Vaccination at the Ministry of Health, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, advised journalists to rest before participating in the second dose of vaccination at the Bung Karno Senayan Basketball Hall, Senayan on March 16-17, 2021.

"We remind the media crew who participated in the second vaccine not to forget to get enough rest, don't forget to have breakfast, and keep implementing health protocols," Nadia said in a press conference, as reported by Antara, Monday, March 15.

He hopes that the vaccination process can run smoothly to jointly solve the problem of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.

Nadia said the vaccine that will be used is not a vaccine that expires this month, but a vaccine that is processed by Biofarma from a semi-finished form into a vaccine that is ready to be injected.

The vaccine that will expire this month is the Sinovac vaccine in the form of a small bottle for one dose, which has been distributed to vaccinate health workers as well as public service providers.

Meanwhile, the vaccines that will be given to journalists tomorrow and the day after tomorrow are vaccines that are still in circulation long enough in the form of large bottles containing doses for nine to eleven people.

Quoted from the Press Council, participants must show their Residential Identity Card (KTP) and COVID-19 vaccination card or the first vaccination certificate, or the schedule for the implementation of the 2nd dose.

Participants of the first dose of vaccination on February 25-27, 2021 who had been invited from the health center or hospital in the DKI Jakarta area were asked to ignore the invitation, and take part in the joint vaccination in Senayan tomorrow and the day after.

Meanwhile, participants over 60 years of age will receive a separate second dose vaccination schedule. Only participants who attended the February 25-27 vaccination are eligible to participate in this second phase of vaccination.

Participants whose vaccinations were postponed in February due to health reasons will be registered for the next batch of vaccinations. Meanwhile, participants in the first dose of vaccination who have not received a vaccination certificate are asked to notify the association that regulates registration or the Press Council.

Agus Sudibyo from the Press Council asked journalists to attend at the appointed time so that there would be no congestion and crowds, and to apply health protocols.
