OIKN Says There Is Additional Investment Of IDR 45 Trillion, Coming From Malaysia To The UAE
JAKARTA - OIKN Deputy for Funding and Investment Agung Wicaksono said that there are nine companies that are ready to invest in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN). The investment value reaches IDR 45 trillion.
Not only from Indonesia, Agung said the nine companies included the company from three foreign countries, such as Malaysia, China to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Even so, Agung has not specified how many companies from the three countries.
"So, not only conveying interest in commitment, but we have given orders to proceed to the (stage) feasibility study (FS). There are nine companies," Agung said when met by reporters at the DPR RI Complex, Jakarta, Monday, June 10.
In addition, Agung said, currently the investment that has entered IKN has reached IDR 51.3 trillion.
The investment is an accumulation of the groundbreaking activities carried out by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) until the sixth stage.
"The total so far is IDR 51.3 trillion for private investment or direct investment," he said.
The government continues to boost the development of IKN. Moreover, President Jokowi targets to be able to carry out the RI Anniversary Ceremony there on August 17.

However, the development did not go smoothly. One of the problems being faced is the IKN infrastructure development area which is still constrained.
This was revealed by the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
"There are still 2,086 ha that are still declared not clean and clear. Yes, the point is that there should be no people who are still occupying it. Then, it has not been handled properly according to the rules, it is like being hit," AHY said in a media gathering at his office, Friday, June 7.
