For 5 Months, West Java Transportation Agency Implements Opening And Closing Roads At Cileungsi Market
CIBINONG - Bogor district government through the Transportation Service (Dishub), West Java, implemented traffic engineering in the form of opening road closures right in front of the Cileungsi Market for five months on 11 June-14 November 2024.The daily executive of the Head of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, Mustakim, revealed that the road closure opening process was carried out to support the smooth flow of traffic due to road reconstruction."We also deploy personnel to regulate traffic flow there during the opening and closing process," he said in Cibinong, Antara, Monday, June 10.The reconstruction process was carried out on Jalan Narogong, which is owned by the province, starting from the flyover or Cileungsi flyover to Klapanunggal.Meanwhile, Head of Traffic Division of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, Dadang Kosasih, explained that the temporary handling carried out by his party was in the form of opening and closing roads.However, he said, the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency would make other handling efforts if traffic engineering in the form of an open and close system did not run optimally.
"We just enforce open and close for a while, we have also collaborated with the police to handle road repairs activities," said Dadang.The Bogor Regency Transportation Agency assigns eight personnel every day who take turns on two shifts during the process of opening and closing the road.
