Officially Entering Indonesia, Zeekr Also Greets Malaysia Market With The Same Two Models
JAKARTA - Not only Indonesia, the premium Zeekr brand under the auspices of the Geely Holding Group has also entered the Malaysian market by cooperating with PT Premium Auto Prima.
Quoting from the Paultan page, Monday, June 10, the Chinese brand in Malaysia has signed a cooperation agreement, with Sentinel Automotive who will become a local partner.
Based on existing reports, there will be two models that will launch this year, namely Zeekr X and Zeekr 009. This means that two of the same models will be launched in Indonesia in the fourth quarter of 2024, as well as the same model as the Thai market which has opened pre-orders.
Look forward to Zeekr's first outlet in Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, and outlets in other major areas such as Penang and Selangor are also expected to be built by the end of this year.
As is known, the first right-hand steering version of X was launched from a production line in China last week, with overseas shipments expected to begin in the third quarter of this year.
Thus, several countries in Asia, including Indonesia, will also get the right steering version, considering that all will be present as the complete import of China.

As for 009, it is a luxury MPV EV that is longer, wider, and sitting lower than the Toyota Alphard/Vellfire, so no less small. In its domestic market, 009 runs with a driving system of all double motorcycles, and with a power of 544 PS (400 kW) and 686 Nm torque, this large MPV can go fast, do a 0-100 km/hour sprint in a short time. Only 4.8 seconds. There are two NMC battery options, 116 kWh and 140 kWh, and both offer CLTC ranges of 702 and 822 km, respectively.
