Kemenkop UKM Asks For Additional Budget Of IDR 665 Billion, This Is The Allocation
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) proposed an additional budget of IDR 665 billion for next year.
This was conveyed by Coordinating Minister for SMEs Teten Masduki in a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Monday, June 10.
Teten said the proposed additional budget would be used to improve the implementation of the ministry's activity program.
"We plan to propose an additional Rp665 billion budget which will be allocated for program implementation or activity to increase target targets," he said.
He added that in efforts to develop and guide cooperatives, MSMEs and entrepreneurship, a budget of IDR 634.4 billion was needed.
Then, the additional budget is also for projected salary allocation and employee allowances in 2025, of which a total of 1,103 employees of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs are.
A total of 1,103 people consisted of 833 existing employees and 270 proposed recruits for new employees, CPNS and PPPK.
"So there is an estimated budget shortage of Rp. 30.58 billion," he said.

Previously, Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs (Menkop UKM) Teten Masduki said the indicative ceiling of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) for the 2025 fiscal year (TA) was IDR 937.1 billion.
"Based on a joint circular with the proposed amendment to the letter from the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas and the Minister of Finance regarding the indicative ceiling of ministry/institutional expenditures and special allocation funds for the 2025 fiscal year, that the indicative ceiling in 2025 of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs is IDR 937.1 billion,"
According to Teten, the budget decreased when compared to the previous year's ceiling.
"The indicative ceiling decreased by 37.44 percent when compared to the 2024 budget allocation of Rp1.49 trillion," he said.
