Police Investigate The Cause Of The Fire At The Alam Sutera Hotel That Caused 3 Deaths
TANGERANG - Police are still investigating the cause of the fire at the Allnite & Day Hotel in the Alam Sutera area, North Serpong, South Tangerang which resulted in the death of three employees.
The Head of Resmob South Tangerang Police, Ipda Andira Wigata, said that the temporary fire was due to an electrical short circuit. However, after being investigated, there are new allegations, namely the discovery of cigarette butts at the temple location.
"But after seeing again, there were cigarette butts found there. So between the two, later we will do an in-depth investigation," Andira said when confirmed, Sunday, June 9.
Andira said that his party had examined a number of witnesses and CCTV at the scene. The goal is to determine whether there were any allegations of negligence in the fire incident.
"This is negligence caused by visitors or managers," he said.

Previously there were three employees of the All Nite & Day Hotel, North Serpong, South Tangerang who were declared dead after the fire broke out at the inn. The incident occurred on Saturday, June 8, in the afternoon.
Those who died were suspected of being caused by smoke radiation when trapped in a hotel elevator located in the Alam Sutera area, North Serpong, South Tangerang on Saturday, June 8, in the afternoon.
"The victims are hotel workers / employees including Security, Maintenens and Office Boy," said Danton Bravo Damkar, South Tangerang City, Nurudin when confirmed, Saturday, June 9, at night.
The identities of the 3rd victims who died included:
1. Dimas Hariyadi, a resident of Bojong RT 001 RW 010, Kunciran Indah Village, Pinang, Tangerang City.
2. Oky Dwi Putra, a resident of the Pepabri complex, Jalan Perintis 3 Block A5, Kunciran, Pinang District, Tangerang City.
3. Hendy Ruspandi, a resident of Priyang Village RT 011 RW 08, Pondok Corn Village, North Serpong.
