This Is An Effort By The Ministry Of Cooperatives And SMEs To Make XBeauty Female Daily The Aggregator For The Development Of Beauty MSMEs
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) encourages X Beauty by Female Daily to become an aggregator and incubator for MSME actors in the beauty field.
Special Staff to the Minister for Creative Economy Empowerment at the Coordinating Ministry for SMEs, Fiki Satari, explained that currently there are more than 400 business actors in the beauty sector.
In fact, about 50 percent of business registrations at the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) are business people in this field.
Therefore, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs encourages more parties involved to encourage MSMEs in the beauty sector to grow better and continue to develop. One of them is by becoming an aggregator and incubator for business actors to make it easier to gain access to financing, markets and raw materials.
"I have spoken with my friends (Female Daily) so that in the future it will not only become a platform in events, but can become an aggregator and incubator as we are developing at the Kemenkop UKM," said Fiki in his official statement, Friday, June 7th.
Fiki appreciated the X Beauty exhibition, because the event could be a showcase for Indonesian MSME products, especially those engaged in the beauty sector. He hopes that similar events can be more massive in various Indonesian cities.
Although the beauty sector is quite prospective, said Fiki, MSME players in this field face quite a tough challenge, such as raw materials that are still mostly imported. Then, the packaging of products produced is still dominated by imports.
"So, we have also made regulations to protect MSMEs and local markets so that they can compete more with imported products," he said.

He added that the Kemenkop UKM has built several joint production houses (RPB) in several provinces of Indonesia to facilitate the production of MSME raw materials from upstream to downstream.
One example is nilam. Commodities are important in the perfume industry, which will get a new boost with the construction of factories or RPB in five Aceh districts, namely Aceh Besar, South Aceh, Aceh Tamiang, Nagan Raya and Gayo Lues. Each region will have two nilam production houses.
"To manage the nilam production house, a producer farmer and Nilam distiller will be formed. They will be given institutional training, transfer of production technology to marketing," he added.
