Vice President Asks BP3OK To Guard The Acceleration Of Papuan Development

SORONG - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin has high hopes for each Papua Special Autonomy Development Acceleration Steering Agency (BP3OKP) representative in every region in Papua to really oversee the development acceleration program.

"We don't want it to be like before and then there is no supervision, now there is BP3OKP in every region in charge of supervising every development acceleration program in Papua," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin in Sorong, Southwest Papua, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 6.

As Chairman of BP3OKP or also known as the Papuan Steering Committee (BPP), Vice President Ma'ruf Amin asked every BP3OKP representative to strengthen public communication in the regions, especially with various strategic groups in Papua. This is an effort to ensure that the government really wants to build a prosperous and advanced Papua.

BP3OKP members are not only from the center but in six provinces in Papua there are representatives. So the six members of the BP3OKP representatives were asked by the Vice President to carry out the supervisory function in each province in Papua.

"So we want the budget to go down to the regions, there is evidence, there is a result, unlike the unclear realization of the budget. But we want this budget to be, this is only clear, that's what we continue to monitor," he said.

Through this supervision, of course, the realization of the acceleration of the development of Smart Papua, Healthy Papua and Productive Papua will actually be achieved properly and maximally.

"We are preparing all of this to achieve Smart Papua, Healthy Papua and Productive Papua," he explained.
