Jokowi And Kaesang Present At GBK Watch The Indonesia Vs Iraq National Team Match

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was present at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) Jakarta to witness the performance of Garuda's troops against the Iraqi national team in the fifth match of Group F of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the second round of Asia.

The Presidential Car that brought Jokowi arrived in the eastern lobby of the GBK at around 16.05 WIB. The Head of State was present wearing a red jacket with dark trousers. Jokowi arrived accompanied by his youngest son Kaesang Pangarep.

Jokowi's presence was welcomed by the Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Raja Juli Antoni, Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas, National Police Chief General Sigit Sulistyo, Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, and Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi.

Also present were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Cooperatives and MSMEs Teten Masduki, and Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono.

After welcoming, the President was accompanied by a group to the GBK VVIP stands to watch the game.

The Indonesian national team will face the Iraqi national team in the fifth match of Group F of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the second round of Asia at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, starting at 16.00 WIB.

Indonesia in this match is required to win in order to immediately advance to the third round of the Asian zone 2026 World Cup qualifiers, while Iraq has confirmed itself qualifying.
