PDIP Secretary General Hasto: So Great We Are Moving The Capital City?
The Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) insinuated the transfer of the capital city from Jakarta to the archipelago which was later highlighted because of Bambang Susantono's resignation as Head of the IKN Authority.
This was conveyed when he spoke during the commemoration of the birthday of the First President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno or Bung Karno, Thursday, June 6.
At that time, he said that Indonesia was great not only because of the capital city but also from various factors, including realizing its geopolitical power, such as the thoughts of the First President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno or Bung Karno.
"Does moving our capital city be great?" asked Hasto at an event held at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta.
"We are great," said Bung Karno, if we master it with geopolitical awareness, we master science, then this is the equation," he continued.

Hasto said that there are many things that the government should prioritize. Among other things, building technology like what Bung Karno did when he led.
Hasto said, when Bung Karno led many people who were sent abroad to study. So that at that time Indonesia did not need to ask for help from other countries.
"Bung Karno sent so many people to be able to process our natural wealth, by our engineers, our school children who were sent out, not begging investors for their capital. This is the same as the Dutch way before, it has not changed," he said.
In addition, the current government should also update foreign polyrics. "Then, natural resources," he said.
"So natural resources are not in front, not in front of our struggle for our national interests. This is empirically tested. So let's as young people, as Indonesian cadres. Indonesia is not an arbitrary nation. Indonesia was born beyond the French revolution," concluded Hasto.
