Expressing Consumer Challenges When Shopping Online, Lazada: Needs Education And Literacy
JAKARTA - The convenience offered by the current digital era should be used to get all the information needed easily, especially before making transactions online.
This benefit will be felt by sellers and buyers. Therefore, education and socialization are very important to respond to changes in the pattern of digital activity-based trading activities.
"Thus, consumers will understand their rights and obligations in transactions. For example, the right to get products according to their needs, as well as ensuring transaction security so as to avoid the threat of cyber crime," said Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) Budi Primawan in a Public Discussion: Urgency in Consumer Empowerment at the Digital Economy Ecosystem in Jakarta, Wednesday, June 5.
However, Lazada Indonesia's Deputy Chief Customer Officer, Farid Suharjo, revealed that the challenges faced in managing Indonesia's digital market are still quite complicated.
The reason is, because Indonesian consumers are still relatively new to many digital economic activities. Therefore, it still takes a lot of time and good literacy on how to use digital technology properly and correctly.
