Law On Sacrifice By Joint Venture, Pay Attention To The Terms

YOGYAKARTA Some of us may still be wondering, what is the law of sacrifice in a joint way? This practice is increasingly popular because it allows to get sacrificial animals that produce more meat.

Sacrifice is an act of worship that is carried out as a form of obedience and respect to Allah SWT. Sacrifice includes the sunnah of muakad, meaning that it is highly recommended for Muslims who have the ability to sacrifice.

The sacrificial service is carried out on 10 Dzulhijjah or during Eid al-Adha and Tasyrik (11, 12, and 13 Dzulhijjah), by slaughtering livestock such as goats, sheep, cows, and camels.

Especially for cattle sacrifices, it is often done in joint ventures, because the nominal is considered very heavy for some people.

In addition, the joint sacrifice also allows to get more animals that produce meat than sheep or goats.

So, can you sacrifice by joint venture? How is the law? Let's look at the full information in the following review.

Quoted from the official website of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Tabligh Council, in the book Fiqhus-Sunnah Juz III page 227 it is explained, it is permissible to sacrifice by joint venture, provided that the sacrificial animal is in the form of a camel or cow. The sacrificial animal applies to seven people, if they intend to sacrifice or get closer to Allah. The legal basis is the hadith narrated by Muslim Imams, Sunan Abu Dawud, and Sunan At- Tirmidzi. From Jabir ra., he said:

You can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't help it, you can't.

Meaning: 'In the year of Hudaibiyah, we together with the Prophet saw slaughter a camel for 7 (seven) people and a cow for 7 (seven) people.'

In the book Shahih Muslim Juz I page 602, the hadith above is stated in Chapter: joining the slaughter of dam, namely a fine in the pilgrimage because it is carried out by completion or quarantine, with a lafadz:

You can't help it, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help me, you can't.

Meaning: It is narrated from Jabir Ibnu Abdullah ra., he said: we are with the Prophetullah saw in the year Hudaibiyah slaughtered a camel for 7 (seven) people and a cow for 7 (seven) people.

Meanwhile, in the book Subulus-Salam Juz IV page 95-96, it is explained, according to the hadith above the ability to join seven people on one camel or one cow for slaughtering dam animals.

Then, some scholars made an analogy to the slaughter of sacrificial animals. However, this qiyas by Ash-Shan'any, Wrote the book Subulus-Salam, was rejected, because it was about the ability to join seven people in one cow, based on the hadith of Ibnu Abbas ra., which mentions:

You can't help it, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't help yourself, you can't.

Meaning: 'We were with the Prophet saw on a trip, then Adlha Day arrived. We joined the qurban, a cow for 7 (seven) people and a camel for 10 (ten) people,' hadith history of Imam At-Tirmidzi and Imam Nasa'i.

From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the law of sacrifice by jointing is allowed, as long as the sacrificial animals are cattle or camels and the requirements for participants cannot exceed 7 people. This provision does not apply to the sacrifice of goats or sheep. Goat or sheep are only allowed for one person.
