Vice President Asks Pansel To Work Well In The Birth Of KPK Leaders With Integrity
MERAUKE - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin hopes that the selection committee for the leadership candidate and supervisory board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (Pansel KPK) will work well so that it can give birth to KPK leaders and adolescents with integrity.
"This panel has been screened, there are elements of the government, there are elements of NGO, there are various elements. We hope that this pandemic will work well and can properly select the candidates for the leadership of the KPK in the future," said the Vice President giving a press statement after visiting the Tebu Sermayam Plantation Area, Merauke, South Papua, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 4.
"We hope that in the future it will be even better, so that those who really have integrity, ability, I think that," continued the Vice President.
The Vice President also hopes that efforts to eradicate corruption in the next KPK leadership period will also be even better.
According to him, various successes and obstacles in eradicating corruption in the previous KPK leadership period can be used as an experience.
"I think there are certainly many experiences that have been carried out. The obstacle or level of success, I think this five years has been quite a kind of experience that has been done. Therefore, we hope that in the future we can work even better," said the Vice President.

Previously, the KPK Pansel opened the registration of candidates for the leadership and supervisory board of the KPK from June 26 to July 15, 2024.
This was conveyed by the Chairman of the KPK Pansel Yusuf Ateh in a press statement at the Ministry of State Secretariat, Jakarta, Friday (31/5).
Yusuf explained that the tenure of the KPK leadership and Supervisory Board will end until December 20, 2024.
As the implementation of Law Number 30 of 2002 concerning the Corruption Eradication Commission, as has been amended several times and most recently with Law Number 19 of 2019, a Selection Committee for Leadership Candidates and Supervisory Board for the 2024-2029 Position Period has been formed based on Presidential Decree Number 63/P of 2024 dated May 30, 2024.
Meanwhile, the membership composition of the KPK Pansel consists of nine people, namely Muhammad Yusuf Ateh (chairman of concurrent members), Arif Satria (vice chairman concurrent members), and seven members of Ivan Yustiavandana, Nawal Nely, Ahmad Erani Yustika, Y. Ambeg Paramarta, Elwi Danil, Rezki Sri Wibowo, and Taufik Rachman.
