Know Hasto Examined By Polda Metro Jaya, Megawati Had Given Wejangan
Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri has known about her Secretary-General, Hasto Kristiyanto, was policed over a case of alleged incitement that caused trouble and spread of false news to the Polda Metro Jaya.
In fact, Megawati is said to have conveyed her message or advice in dealing with the case.
"(The general chairman of the PDI-P) already knows. I reported it to him," said Hasto to reporters, Tuesday, June 4.
One of the messages that Megawati conveyed to Hasto was ordering to follow the legal process. This is also an example for other PDIP cadres.
"Carry out obligations as a citizen of the country who obeys the law. Because the PDI-P always teaches its cadres about the importance of rule of law," said Hasto.
Pemeriksaan terhadap Hasto Kristiyanto diketahui berdasarkan surat pangilan yang tergistrasi dengan nomor B/13674/V/RES.1.24./2024/Ditreskrimum, tergalgal 29 Mei 2024.
In the letter, the basis for summoning Hasto was two police reports (LP) number LP/B/1735/III/2024/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA dated March 26, 2024 and Police Report Number LP/B/1812/III/2024/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA dated March 31, 2024.
Hasto has been undergoing the examination process for approximately two hours. Hasto's legal adviser, Petra M Zen, said that his client was only asked four questions regarding the case that made him reported.
"Therefore (Hasto's examination) only 4 questions," said Pertra.

At least the number of questions was because the examination of Hasto was only a clarification that was not mandatory to attend.
In addition, said Petra, Hasto's statement, which became the problem pokom in the report, was a journalistic product.
"To respect the law, investigators invite us to Pak Hasto to the Press Council first. Therefore, only four questions," said Petra.
In that case, Hasto is suspected of violating the criminal act of incitement and/or disseminating electronic information and/or electronic documents containing false news that caused riots in the community as referred to in Article 160 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 28 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 45A paragraph (3) of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning the Law on Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).
