'Convey' 200 Years History, Claudia Sheinbaum Becomes The First Woman To Be President Of Mexico
JAKARTA - Claudia Sheinbaum's projected victory in the presidential election in Mexico has been answered. He stressed that his victory showed Mexico was a democratic country with peaceful elections.President of the National Elections Institute said Sheinbaum had between 58.3 percent and 60.7 percent of the vote, according to statistical samples. Opposition candidate Xch Chit Gá Lvez obtained between 26.6 percent and 28.6 percent of the vote and Jorge Á Varez MáYnez received between 9.9 percent and 10.8 percent of the vote.The initial tally, which started very slowly, put Sheinbaum 27 points ahead of GáLvez with 42 percent of polling stations counted shortly after his winning speech.A candidate from the ruling party campaigned to continue the political path set out over the past six years by his political mentor, President Andr&eaute;61-year-old Sheinbaum led the campaign live despite the tough challenges of GáIni.
