Menpora Dito Reveals Ridwan Kamil's Story Of Meeting Prabowo: Mr. RK Has An Intention In West Java

JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) who is also a Golkar politician Dito Ariotedjo revealed the story about Ridwan Kamil (RK) meeting the elected President, Prabowo Subianto. According to Dito, Ridwan Kamil has the intention to run in the 2024 West Java Pilkada.

"Yesterday, it happened that after meeting a story with me, it discussed the current situation, especially since Mr. RK has an intention in West Java," said Dito at the DPR building, Jakarta, Monday, June 3.

Ridwan Kamil currently has recommendations to run in the West Java gubernatorial election and Jakarta gubernatorial election at the same time. Even the recommendations were also issued by Golkar and Gerindra.

As a person who has this recommendation, Dito considered it natural for Ridwan Kamil to exchange ideas with Prabowo as chairman of Gerindra.

"So they exchanged their thoughts more regarding it to Pak Prabowo as chairman of Gerindra and the elected president," he said.

Moreover, added Dito, the man who is familiarly called Kang Emil was once supported by Gerindra when he ran as the Bandung City Guard in 2013.

"Mr. RK and Pak Prabowo have also communicated frequently since the time of the presidential election, even those who used to support him as the mayor of Bandung as well as Pak Prabowo," said Dito.

"Yes, it is normal for fellow national cadres to meet and Mr. RK, at that time one of Pak Prabowo's main supporters, especially for West Java," he concluded.

Previously, the former Governor of West Java (Jabar) Ridwan Kamil or RK met with President-elect Prabowo Subianto. During the meeting, RK received advice so that Indonesia would become a strong and healthy nation.

This was revealed by RK in his upload on his personal Instagram account, as seen on Saturday, June 1.
