Rocky Gerung Calls There A Problem Between The Police And The Attorney General's Office
JAKARTA - The main task of public relations in an agency or company provides an explanation from a gray or white area. Not only that, the statement from the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto stated that there were no more problems between the National Police and the Attorney General's Office regarding the stalking of Densus 88 members was actually a problem.
This was conveyed by a political observer from the University of Indonesia, Rocky Gerung in his official YouTube account quoted by VOI, Sunday, June 2.
Rocky said that the stalking of Densus 88 members against Jampidsus Febrie Ardiansyah clearly violated the main duties and responsibilities of the 88 Detachment itself. Not to mention the explanation from the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs who said there were no more problems after summoning the National Police Chief and the AGO.
"It's as if by summoning the police chief and the attorney general, there is no longer a problem. The statement by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs which states that there are no more problems, without realizing it, shows that the problem is indeed between the police and the attorney general. This is not a family problem where neighbors do not need to know what is going on. This is a public matter that feels disturbed due to members of the Densus who should be pursuing terrorists instead stalking them." said Rocky Gerung.

Rocky said that with the stalking confessions of the two public relations agencies, it was possible to keep explosives. According to Rocky, the two public relations officers should have explained to the public what is being fought against between the police and the prosecutor's office at this time.
"So far, we as the public have always been given answers that do not explain clearly with the sentence that has been resolved. The goal is to give the sentence to cover the problem so it doesn't spread. Now, this has already spread. This stalking problem is like a fire coal that still causes smoke where the public is obliged to collect an explanation for what is going on between the police and the prosecutor's office," said Rocky Gerung.
He said that if the problem of stalking was not immediately explained and disclosed clearly, the public would take a long time to believe information circulating on social media related to the disclosure of tin corruption disclosed by the prosecutor's office.
"Not to mention coupled with critical questions from journalists, and finally the public believes in this allegation and that. The public is waiting to see if the case on Bangka Island or General initial B's involvement is just a rumor," he quipped.
Rocky also noted how this case started to disappear after the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin looked familiar and joined hands with witnessed by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto at the state palace.
Previously, it was reported that the Attorney General's Office (AGO) had handed over Densus 88 Polri member, Bripda Iqbal Mustofa, who was stalking the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah to the Bhayangkara Corps. However, from the results of the investigation, the National Police actually stated that no problems were found.
"From the DivPropam, we received information that the member had been examined and there was no problem," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Shandi Nugroho to reporters, Thursday, May 30.
In fact, Shandi also conveyed that the stalking issue had been closed along with a meeting between the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Attorney General ST Burhanuddin at the launch of GovTech at the State Palace.
The two leaders of law enforcement agencies are also said to have conveyed firmly if the police and prosecutors do not have any problems.
