Today Shell Officially Closes All Gas Stations In North Sumatra
JAKARTA - Shell Indonesia officially closed all networks of its retail gas stations in North Sumatra today, Saturday, June 1, 2024.
Managing Director of Mobility Shell Indonesia Ingrid Siburian said this decision was in line with Shell's strategy globally to create products with lower value and emissions or more value with less emissions and focused on discipline, simplification, and business performance.
"Shell Indonesia informed the termination of operational activities of nine Shell retail networks (SPBU) in North Sumatra starting June 1, 2024," said Inggrid in a written statement received by VOI, Saturday, June 1.
Inggrid also expressed its appreciation to customers, all Shell gas station manager partners in North Sumatra, namely PT Multi Mineral Trading, PT Central Energi Indonesia, PT Kei Jaya Sentosa, PT Daya Energi Sukses, PT Multi Energy Lestarindo, PT Argya Energy Sumatra, and PT Wirausahara Sukses Makmur, Central Government and the Regional Government as well as all other partners.
