IHSG Opens Up 0.73 Percent to 7,085, 207 Stocks Rise

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) at the opening of trading on Friday, May 31, 2024, strengthened by 51.31 points or 0.73 percent to 7,085.46 at 09.11 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.

Meanwhile, the IHSG opened at 7,034.82 while the highest level of the IHSG today was at 7,102.21 and the lowest at 7,071.09.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 1.37 billion, with a transaction value of IDR 953 billion. There were 207 stocks that rose, 155 stocks that fell, and 166 flat.

The LQ45 index strengthened by 1.05 percent, Japan's Nikkei 225 Index rose by 0.39 percent, the Hang Seng Index strengthened by 1.67 percent, China's Shanghai Composite rose by 0.36 percent, and Singapore's Straits Times strengthened by 0.28 percent.

Meanwhile, those who entered the Top Gainers ranks were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) up 200 or 2.22 percent to IDR 9,200, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) up 100 or 1.70 percent to IDR 5,975, PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) up 150 or 1.20 percent to IDR 12,600.

Meanwhile, those included in the top losers were shares of PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA) which fell 110 or 3.55 percent to IDR 2,990, shares of PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) which fell 120 or 3.25 percent to IDR 3,570, and shares of PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) which fell 70 or 2.88 percent to IDR 2,360.
