Synopsis Of Sangkolo Night One Suro, Ready To Air June 20
JAKARTA - MVP Pictures is ready to release the film Sangkolo Night One Suro which will start showing in theaters on June 20, 2024. Sangkolo Night Satu Suro is directed by Hanny R Saputra and stars Donny Alamsyah, Fauzan Nasrul, Anantya Kirana, Kenya Nindia, Nesia Weroza Puspa, Dasha March, Rahmet Ababil and Dayinta Melira.
"MVP Pictures is always committed to presenting stories that are not only entertaining, but can also generate feelings and experiences that can be well connected to society. I hope this film can be well received by Indonesian film lovers," said Raam Punjabi, producer of MVP Pictures.
Hanny R Saputra emphasized the importance of faith in living life through this film.
"In Sengkolo Night Satu Suro, I emphasize the importance of having, faith and upholding our faith in God in living our lives," said director Hanny R Saputra.
"The genre of the Sangkolo Night One Suro film is horror. But in Mas Hanny's hands, this film is a complete film, there is horror and there is a drama too. The horror has a strong suspend element plus a fun jumpscare. Mas Hanny builds a drama between husband to wife, husband to son, brother to sister," explained Donny Alamsyah.
Meanwhile, Nesia Weroza Puspa admitted that she was very excited that Sangkolo's One Night Suro would be shown in theaters.
"As Mas Donny said, this film is indeed different from most horror films. There is a romantic side and a touching human side in this film," said Nesia.
