BANDA ACEH - Pidie Police have examined and named one of the teachers at the Pidie Regency Islamic Education Institute (LPI), Aceh Province, with the initials AJ (38) as a suspect in the alleged sexual harassment case against his students.
"AJ has been named a suspect and is undergoing a third phase of examination after being reported on suspicion of immoral acts against female students," said Pidie Police Chief AKBP Imam Asfali as reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 27.
Imam explained that AJ was previously reported directly by five victims who felt they were victims of sexual harassment.
Even though he has been named a suspect, he is not detained because until today he is still cooperative.
In this case, he said, the police had also summoned several witnesses for questioning to complete the case file, and five victims had been post-mortem.
