This Is The Subsidized Fuel Quota Proposed By BPH Migas For 2025
JAKARTA - The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) has proposed a subsidized fuel quota for 2025.
Head of BPH Migas, Erika Retnowati said, this projection is contained in a letter sent to the Director General of Budget of the Ministry of Finance dated February 6, 2024.
Erika said, in the letter, there were parameters on the calculation of certain fuel subsidies and 3 kg LPG cylinders as well as fuel compensation for the preparation of Outlook for the 2024 fiscal year, RAPBN for the 2025 budget year, and Medium Term Budget Framework for the 2026-2029 budget year.
The projection for the volume range of certain Diesel Fuel Types (JBT) is 18.33 to 19.44 million. Meanwhile, kerosene is estimated at 0.514 million KL to 0.546 million KL.
"Meanwhile, Pertalite 31.33 to 33.23 million KL," Erika said in a Hearing Meeting with Commission VII DPR RI, Monday, May 27.
The realization of fuel consumption for the Special Assignment Fuel Type (JBKP) or Pertalite until the end of April reached 10 million KL or 31.36 percent of the consumption target throughout 2024 which was set at 31.60 million KL.
"The JBKP quota in 2024 is set at 31.70 million KL, slightly lower than the 2023 quota of 32.56 million KL," explained Erika.

Erika said, JBKP's consumption growth from 2022 to 2023 only increased by 1.8 percent from 29.49 million KL in 2022 to 30.03 million KL in 2023.
"Referring to the realization of distribution in 2023 the JBKP quota in 2024 is set at 31.70 million KL slightly lower than the 2023 quota of 32.56 million KL," continued Erika.
On the other hand, consumption of certain types of fuel (JBT) from January to the end of April reached 5.57 million KL or 30.12 percent of the allocated quota of 18.49 million KL.
"The details are solar oil 5.4 million KL and kerosene 0.17 million KL," said Erika.
