PKS Proses Pemecatan Caleg Terpilih Aceh Tamiang Yang Ditangkap Kasus 70 Kg Sabu
JAKARTA - The Regional Leadership Council of the Prosperous Justice Party (DPW PKS) Aceh is currently processing the dismissal of the Aceh Tamiang DPRK candidate for the 2nd electoral district named Sofyan after being arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police regarding the methamphetamine drug case. Sofyan, who is the elected candidate from PKS, turned out to be a fugitive.
"I heard from the regional leadership council, PKS Aceh is in the process. Not PAW, but immediately fired," said DPR Commission III member Nasir Djamil, Monday, May 27.
The PKS legislator for the Aceh electoral district emphasized that his party would impose strict sanctions on cadres involved in legal cases. Including, drug abuse.
In addition to dismissal, continued Nasir, PKS will also immediately process the change of legislative candidates to replace Sofyan.
"Caleg number 2 who get the most votes will replace that position," he said.
Nasir said that Sofyan's arrest area was his electoral district. However, he admitted that he did not know the role of the PKS elected candidate in the drug case that ensnared him.
"I myself do not know what his position is in the crime. Because it is included in my electoral district. The Aceh 2 electoral district of the DPR RI, Aceh Tamiyang Regency is one of the regions that is included in the Aceh 2 electoral district of the DPR RI," said Nasir.
It is known that Bareskrim Polri arrested Sofyan, the elected legislative candidate (caleg) of the Aceh Tamiang District House of Representatives (DPRK), in connection with the 70 kilograms of methamphetamine-type narcotics case. In this case, Sofyan acts as the owner and controller of circulation.

Sofyan was arrested after the fugitive in the narcotics case hid in the Aceh Tamiang-Medan area for three weeks.
Despite trying to hide, Sofyan could still be arrested. Starting when the fugitive in the 70 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine case was found to be in one of the coffee shops in the Aceh Tamiang Regency, Saturday, May 25, at around 15.30 WIB.
Several police officers stalked him to confirm his whereabouts.
"The team coordinated with the Aceh Tamiang Police Chief and was backed up by the Satnarkoba picket to carry out monitoring," he said.
