Chery, an automotive company from China continues to expand its ranks of vehicles in the global market, especially in Southeast Asia. This Wuhu-based manufacturer also brought Tiggo 8 Pro e+ to Malaysia.

Unlike other models, Tiggo 8 Pro e+ carries efficient Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) technology. In addition, the SUV has a large-dimensional design that can contain many people.

Reporting from Paultan, Monday, May 27, this SUV takes the basis of the Tiggo 8 Pro. This means that the car is carrying a galaxy' front goal like a large Audi with a LED trapium headlights and a L twin DRL. In fact, a 19-inch two-tone rim is identical to the pure gasoline version.

What distinguishes it from the Tiggo 8 Pro is that there is a charging port door on the front left side, blue accent around the refueling cap, and the latest diffuser present at the quad exhaust.

The interior is also not much different from its twin, such as the layout of seven seats, a dashboard similar to Mercedes-Benz, a 12.3-inch twin screen panel, and a black and brown scheme. The only difference in the cabin is the blue line in the electronic dental selector.

For its performance, the Tiggo 8 Pro e+ has the same 1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine as the Omoda 5 and can generate 158 ps of power and 230 Nm of torque combined with a dual electric motor and three acceleration DHT transmission. Thus, this car can emit a total of 326 ps of power and a 545 Nm of torque.

In the Chinese market, the Tiggo 8 Pro e+ is available in two battery variants, the smallest of which can reach 42 km and 19.27 kWh can run up to 80 km with pure electrical energy. All of them are compatible with DC 29 kW and AC 6.6 kW chargers.

Unfortunately, the company from this bamboo curtain country does not want to express its price and sales period. However, it is possible that this SUV will be present as a local assembled in neighboring countries.
