Flood Height In East Pejaten Reaches 2.6 Meters
JAKARTA - The DKI Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) said that the flood heights in the four neighborhood units (RT) of Pejaten Timur Village, South Jakarta reached 260 centimeters (cm).
"Four RTs in East Pejaten were flooded with a height of 190 to 269 cm, the cause of the overflow of the Ciliwung River," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 25.
Apart from East Pejaten, another South Jakarta area that was hit by flooding was due to the overflow of Ciliwung there were six RTs in Rawajati with a height of 80 to 90 cm.
Then, in East Jakarta there are 27 RTs consisting of four RTs in Bidara Cina with a height of 80 to 120 cm which is also caused by the overflow of the Ciliwung River.
Then, 18 RTs in Kampung Melayu with a height of 30 to 150 cm, two RTs in Balekambang with a height of 60 cm.
"There are three more RTs in Cawang," he said.

Furthermore, one RT in Pluit, North Jakarta with a height of 15 cm caused by the tidal wave. Meanwhile, the area that has receded is one RT in Penjaringan and one RT in Pluit.
As of 09.00 WIB, BPBD noted that the inundation that occurred had increased from 31 to 38 RT or 0.124 percent from 30,772 RTs in the DKI Jakarta area.
