Serang City Government Gives Grant Funds Of IDR 28 Billion For The Implementation Of The 2024 Pilkada
The General Election Commission (KPU) of Serang City received funds of Rp28 billion for the implementation of the 2024 Pilkada. The funds are grants given by the Serang City Government (Pemkot), Banten.Chairman of the Serang City KPU Nanas Nasihudin, in Serang, Friday, said that out of the total grant of Rp28 billion allocated by the new Serang City Government, 40 percent, which has been received by the KPU. The disbursement of the Serang City Pilkada grant funds itself is divided into two stages. Where the first term has been disbursed by 40 percent of the total. "The first stage has been disbursed three months ago, the second stage is not yet 60 percent," he said as quoted from ANTARA, Friday, May 24. According to him, the current second phase of disbursement only remains to submit a letter to the Serang City Government. His party also claimed to have coordinated with the Serang City Government regarding the disbursement. "In terms of progress, the KPU has made the disbursement letter. Monday, we will submit the submission letter because today there are still activities," he said.

Meanwhile, for the current stage, namely the recruitment of ad hoc bodies, both the District Election Committee (PPK) and the Voting Committee (PPS) at the Kelurahan level. This is because in Serang City alone there are no individual candidates who run so they do not carry out the verification stages of individual candidates.
