Last Week, Average Daily Transaction Value Decreased 9.82 percent to IDR 12.16 Trillion

JAKARTA – The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) announced that based on IDX stock trading data in the period 20 to 22 May 2024 it closed variously.

The increase during the week occurred in the average transaction frequency during the week with an increase of 2.92 percent to 1.14 million transactions from 1.11 million transactions last week.

The decline occurred in stock market capitalization by 0.45 percent to IDR 12,363 trillion from IDR 12,420 trillion in the previous week.

Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) this week weakened by 1.30 percent to 7,222,382 from 7,317,238 at the close of last week.

Then, the average share transaction value decreased by 9.82 percent to IDR 12.16 trillion from IDR 13.48 trillion at the close of last week.

Meanwhile, the average daily transaction volume during the week decreased by 17.72 percent to 15.42 billion shares from 18.74 billion shares from last week's closing.

Furthermore, today's movement of foreign investors recorded a net selling value of IDR 560.54 billion and throughout 2024 foreign investors recorded a net selling value of IDR 1.43 trillion.
