Garbage Worker Dies After Becoming Victim Of Wrong Target By Brawler In Jakut

JAKARTA - A man who works as a garbage man named Sunarto (49) is suspected of being the victim of a mistargeted brawler to death on the spot. The incident occurred on Jalan Madya Kebantenan, Cilincing, North Jakarta (Jakut).

Cilincing Police Chief Kompol Fernando Saharta Saragi said the incident occurred on Tuesday, May 21, at 22.30 WIB.

"It is true that the victim Sunarto Alias Berkat died and suffered lacerations to the left ear and neck due to sharp weapons," Fernando said when confirmed, Friday, May 24.

Fernando explained that the incident began with a brawl between the shirts around Kalibaru, Tuesday, May 21, at 21.30 WIB. At the time of the incident Sunarto was lying down around the scene.

"The victim who was lying down was targeted by the perpetrator of the brawl which resulted in the victim getting torn wounds to the left ear to the neck below the chin due to a sharp weapon," he said.

After the incident, the victim was taken to Cilincing Hospital, North Jakarta. Meanwhile, the perpetrators are currently pursuing the incident.
