Singapore Airlines Experiences Turbulence, One Person Dies
JAKARTA - One person died on the Singapore Airlines plane which experienced severe turbulence on flights from London to Singapore.
The plane was diverted to Bangkok, according to a post on Singapore Airlines' Facebook page. Several people were injured, the airline said, although the company did not specify how many.
Reported by CNN, this aircraft carried 211 passengers and 18 crew members on board. The plane then landed in Bangkok at 15:45. local time, Tuesday, May 21.
