Iranian Foreign Minister Calls Jordanian And Turkish Ministers, Discusses Gaza's Condition
JAKARTA - Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri held telephone talks with Jordan and Turkish foreign ministers, Ayman Safadi and Hakan Fidan.
In his telephone conversation with Safadi, Bagheri stressed the importance of joint efforts made by Iran, Jordan and other Islamic countries to immediately stop Gaza's war without any prerequisites and expand support for Palestine.
Reporting from the IRNA news agency, Tuesday, May 21, Safadi forwarded a message of condolences from the King of Jordan to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei for the death of President Ebrahim Raisi and his entourage in a helicopter crash.
He said his country sympathized with the Iranian nation and government over the sad incident.

Safadi then spoke about his ongoing interaction with Hossein Amirabdollahian who was martyred with President Raisi and expressed his country's desire to continue consulting with Iran to serve the interests of the two countries and help form peace and stability in the region.
Regarding the latest developments in Palestine, the Foreign Minister of Jordan said his country prioritized the Palestinian issue and stressed the need to make diplomatic efforts to stop war and genocide in Gaza.
In his talks with Fidan, Bagheri also stressed the importance of continuing cooperation between Iran and Turkey as two major countries in the Islamic World to stop the genocide committed by Israel against the oppressed Palestinian people.
