Muhammadiyah Condolences And Condolences For The Death Of The President Of Iran
YOGYAKRTA - Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi died in a helicopter crash on Monday. Raisi died with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian after the helicopter they were traveling in crashed in the mountainous area of the Dizmar forest, between the cities of Varzagan and Jolfa in East Azerbaijan Province.
Through a letter of condolences sent to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Indonesia, the General Chairperson and General Secretary of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive (PP) Haedar Nashir and Abdul Mu'ti expressed deep sorrow for the deaths of Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.
"We, PP Muhammadiyah, share the deep sorrow felt by the Iranian people. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, the nation and the Iranian government," Haedar said on Tuesday, May 21.

Haedar said President Raisi had made a significant contribution to the common goal of humanity in an effort to achieve fair peace in the Middle East region, in particular and the Islamic world in general.
"Therefore, the death of President Raisi is a big loss for all of us. Muhammadiyah's central leadership also prays to Allah SWT, asks for forgiveness and blessings for all victims in the disaster, and hopes that the bereaved family will be given patience and fortitude," he said.
